I Will Trust God

1 I will love You, O LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress and my deliverer; My GOD, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. 3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. Psalms 18:1-3 (NKJV)

I am trusting in you Lord because you are my strength. There are days I feel like I can’t make it and then I remember that I’m not alone because you got me. Lord you are my rock, my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer! I no longer have to give into fear, but I can rejoice in the God of my salvation. Lord I love you and I trust you.

God wants us “FAT”

(F: Faithful):  1 Corinthians 4:2King James Version (KJV)Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

(A: Available):  John 12:26King James Version (KJV)26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

(T: Teachable):  Proverbs 12:1King James Version (KJV)12 Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.  Proverbs 9:9King James Version (KJV)Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.  Proverbs 4:5King James Version (KJV)Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.  2 Timothy 3:16King James Version (KJV)16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

God’s Word is Alive

For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of hearts. Hebrew 4:12 (NKJV)

The Word of God is alive and powerful! Have you experienced it jumping off the pages before you? That’s because God wants to enlightened us. It’s so sharp that it will cut us by convicting us when we hear or  read the Word, that sometimes we have to say ouch. God’s Word is so sharp that it can separate our soul from our spirit, and can discerned our mind and our hearts. That’s why David said, “thou understandest my thoughts afar off.” (Psalms 139:2) We can hide from man what we are thinking, but we can not hide from God.

Have you ever experienced the Pastor is preaching and you think he’s preaching about you? You might had felt someone was talking about you to the Pastor. Well God knew, and he told it. He already knew what you did or was planning to do. There are no secrets that God does not already know.

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalms 139:23-24

“Don’t Abort Your Assignment”

Jonah 1:3,10-12King James Version (KJV)

But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.  10 Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the Lord, because he had told them.11 Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.12 And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.

God taught Jonah the importance of  being obedience.  Jonah thought he could run from the all seeing and all knowing God, the one that created him.  God is the Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of the heaven and earth.  When God gives you an assignment, do not abort your assignment, because it has purpose and destiny attached to your future.  We might try to run, maybe hide, but we won’t get away or get by.  Don’t keep changing the channels, listen for God’s voice.  Don’t turn to other sources for help, looking for human guidance.  Look to Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith.  “Arise and Go to our Loving Father.”

“New Opportunities” “New Blessing”

Psalm 118:24King James Version (KJV)

24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

This scripture literally tells us “This is the day which the Lord hath made.  “This means we have a New Day, but the question is: what will you with it?   Yesterday is gone….a bad day….all bad thoughts….all disappointments….all bad choices….all bad behaviors….all defeats….and the list goes on!!!

Now it time to rejoice.  We have a new day….a new beginning….a fresh start….new blessing….new miracles….new grace….new mercy….new favor….new promotion….new career….new people to meet.

Don’t live in the past!!….Rejoice in your present….Press toward your future with victory.   Don’t live in a dark place, because of your current situation.   Jesus said,12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.  John 8:12 (KJV)
Will we live in Victory or Defeat??….
Walk in the light!!
