God’s Word for Today

God’s Word for Today

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly. — John 10:10

He brought me out

I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.  And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.  Psalms 40:1-3

Have you ever been in a pit?  All you can see is darkness and there’s no light.  You feel all alone even though there are people all around you, but there is a wall that separates you from them.  You cry out God where are you as you go through the  motions of your days.  Day in and day out you are in this pit.  You want to escape, but there is no way out of it.  So you sit and you wait.  But in your waiting you seek the Lord.  You pray anyhow even though it seems like your prayers bounce off the walls.  You search the scriptures looking to read a word from God to hold on to.  Just as quickly as you went into the pit, one day you find yourself out of it.  Thank you Lord, I’m out of the pit.

God’s Word for Today

O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.  Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.  Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.  Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.  Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; — Psalms 105:1-5

Decree and Declare

Decree and Declare

Decree and Declare your business! Decree and Declare your job! Decree and Declare salvation for your household! Decree and Declare your healing! Whatever you desire from God, you must decree and declare it.

When God created, He spoke the words “Let there be light.” We utter these words by faith because we believe that he is and he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Heb. 11:6)

Speak it with authority into the atmosphere!

Never Changes

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?–Numbers 23:19

I am so glad God is not like us.  He says what he means and he means what he says!  He never changes.  Everything else around us may change, our friends, our jobs, our families, our world, but God never changes!
