The “Suddenly” turn around

Acts 16:25-26King James Version (KJV)

25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.

Midnight is the darkness time in our lives.  Everything seems scary and out of control. Our fears are heightened, and many of us get insomnia.   But Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto our God.  When we begin to focus on what God can do through prayer and praise, things will begin to shift in our lives. The “suddenly” will appear.  We have to be in position to receive God’s sudden movements.  When God moves, it’s often without notice.  It happens quickly.  Paul and Silas were in a posture of prayer and praise when God turned things around.  We have to be in that same state.
