God’s Plan

We live in a society where we want it now. We want our food hot and quick. That’s why we have fast food restaurants. We want to accumulate our wealth quickly. That’s why we hop from job to job looking to make a few dollars more each time. We want to live the American Dream, but we want it now. We don’t have time to wait for anything. We can go to a store and if the line has two people before us, our blood pressure begins to rise. We don’t have patience to wait. Hurry up because I got things to do. Even when we are going through a trial we want it over and done with. It’s too hard, I can’t take it, or why me are some of the complaints we voiced to the Lord. But God has a plan for your life. He wants to build you, make you, and mold you for his glory. And it takes time. While you are going through your challenging times, take time out to seek the Lord. He wants you to spend some quality time with him. He wants to become intimate with you. He wants you to know him because he knows all about you. He wants you to know about his plans for you. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. — Jeremiah 29:11

  1. Well said. I think a lot of us are guilty of these improprieties. I know I am. It’s good to be reminded that we need to be more tolerant and take our time. Thanks for the good words and reminders!

  2. “Patience is a virtuie” We forget at times that God is in control. We have no need to rush, We have to take time to stop and smell the roses. God has so much to offer us, we are so blessed with His love and mercy. Thank you and God bless you.
